Dr. Amy L. Covucci, O.D., F.A.A.O., is a doctor
of optometry. She is the friendly optometrist of Andover Eye Care.
Dr. Covucci graduated with honors in June of 1998
from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts.
After graduating from optometry school Dr. Covucci
was chosen to participate in a one year hospital-based residency program
at The Hudson Valley Health Care System Veteran Affairs hospital in Castle
Point, New York.
After completing her residency training, Dr. Covucci
accepted an associate position with a well-respected corneal specialist
in New York City.
Dr. Covucci is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa
Optometry honor society, the American Optometric Association, and was recently
awarded her Fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry (F.A.A.O.)
after passing written and oral requirements at the annual meeting in December
2001.
Dr. Covucci holds New Jersey, New York, and Florida
state Optometric licenses and is board certified in optometry by the National
Board of Examiners in Optometry.
Dr. Covucci is originally from Lafayette, New Jersey
where her parents, sister, and brother also reside. She is very excited
to begin practicing optometry in her home state!
